State Gift Baskets have become a tradition of the National DOG. Here is how it
works, bring a basket with items that represent your state. It's that simple.
Here are some basic guidelines on the program:
1. If you bring a basket (or more), you will go home with the same number of baskets
that you brought.
2. It doesn't have to be in a basket, you can place your items in any container that
you choose, paper sack, gift wrapped, etc..
3. How much to spend is up to you, a basket can most likely be put together for
around $20.00.
4. They will be on DISPLAY for everyone to see, so they want the baskets to be
attractive and nice.
5. The baskets should contain things from their state, hometown, and surrounding
areas--good will ambassadors for their Chamber of Commerce.
6. When you check-in at registration, you will drop off your basket.
7. On Saturday afternoon, we will have a time set aside to exchange baskets, this will
give everyone a chance to meet who is taking their basket home.
8. Every effort will be made to ensure that you don't get a basket from your own
state.
