Friday-
There will be a 3 Pot cook off. Click Here for all the rules. Main Dish, Dessert and a Bread (Yeast or
Sourdough). Cooks can start preparing their dishes at 12 PM. You will be allow 4 hours to complete all three
dishes. All dishes must be prepared on site. Dishes will be turned in at 4 PM for judging. Cooks will setup in a
central location so that they can be judged on proper techniques. This event will follow IDOS rules and the
winning team will qualify to participate in the World Championship Cook-Off in March 2011. Please contact Bill

Saturday-
There will be a Breakfast Casserole and Sweet Bread contest in the morning. Dishes will need to be turned in
at 8:15 AM for judging. When you arrive to the NDOG, you will be given a container to turn in with your dish.
You may enter one, both or not at all. This cook off is just for fun.
In the evening, there will be a Jambalaya or Gumbo and dessert contest. Dishes need to be turned in at 5:15
PM. Who can make the best Jambalaya or Gumbo? Can Louisiana capture the title that went to Texas on
2007?
Youth Cook-Off
Entries may be either individual or team. There will be two categories that you can enter: Main Dish and Dessert.
All cooking must be done at the park.
Food must be presented in the oven or on the lid that it was prepared on.
A copy of the recipe must be presented for each entry.
Adults can only observe and ensure safety.
All entries must be turned in by 12:30.
Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category.
